Rachel M. Schlepp, CPA, to Principal
Rachel’s career in public accounting spans over 19 years. She joined Dalby Wendland’s Glenwood Springs office as a tax manager in 2015. During her time as a public accountant, she has worked with multinational businesses and small companies just getting started. Her prior professional experience also includes working as a bank examiner for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Rachel’s expertise is in the areas of federal multi-state and state-and-local tax for businesses, international tax, risk management, family-owned business issues and consulting, real estate tax, and estate planning. She specializes in several industries, including real estate development and investment, construction, and trusts and estates. Rachel attained a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance and master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins. Rachel is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Colorado Society of CPAs, serves as Advancement Chair for local Cub Scout Pack 225, and serves on the finance committee for Valley View Hospital Foundation.
Lisa A. Thon-Kollar, CPA, to Principal
Lisa joined Dalby Wendland’s Grand Junction tax office in 2006. Her areas of focus include individual and business taxation, tax advisory and planning, consulting, and accounting services for a wide variety of businesses and individuals. She is one of the firm’s specialists in the construction and hospitality industries and for high net-worth individuals. She also has extensive knowledge in trust and estate tax planning and filings. Lisa earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western State College in Gunnison and bachelor’s in accounting from Colorado Mesa University. She is a member of the Colorado Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. Lisa gives back to her community as a member of the St. Mary’s Estate Planning Council and Horizon Sunrise Rotary Club. She is a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow.
Kelsa D. Tinsley, CPA, to Principal
Kelsa Tinsley is a certified public accountant (CPA) with Dalby Wendland’s audit and assurance service line, centrally based out of Grand Junction. Originally from Meeker, Colorado, Kelsa attained a bachelor of science degree in accounting with a minor in computer information systems from Colorado Mesa University in 2012. Kelsa joined DWC in 2011, and since that time, she has developed expertise in providing attest and accounting services such as financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, agreed-upon procedures, and client accounting services for a wide variety of clients in several industries, including financial institutions, construction, manufacturing, mining, oil and gas services, life and health insurance, retail, fixed-based operators (FBOs), nonprofits, governmental special districts, and employee benefit plans including 401(k) plans, 403(b) plans, and health and welfare plans. Kelsa is one of DWC’s specialists in audit and attest services for employee benefit plans and has attained advanced certification in this area from the American Institute of CPAs. She is also a leader at DWC in providing client accounting services, including outsourced chief financial officer (CFO) and controller services to clients in a wide range of industries. Due to her breadth of experience with attest and accounting services, Kelsa also assists in preparing business valuations alongside other valuation analysts at DWC with accredited in business valuation (ABV) and certified valuation analyst (CVA) credentials. Kelsa is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Colorado Society of CPAs, and she is a board member on the board of directors of the Grand Junction Air Show.
Paige A. Curtiss, CPA, to Tax Supervisor
Paige hails from Wyoming and attained a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Wyoming in Laramie. She started with Dalby, Wendland’s Grand Junction tax team in January of 2018. Paige prepares individual and business tax returns, helps exempt organizations with annual tax filings, and assists with business valuation engagements. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Colorado Society of CPAs.
Seth C. Knighton to Tax Supervisor
Seth started his accounting career with Dalby Wendland’s tax office in 2017. Seth works on a wide range of clients and industries and particularly enjoys working with trusts and estates as well as the real estate, auto dealership, and medical industries. He is a member of the Young Professional’s Council for the Colorado Society of CPAs and also a member of Young Professional’s Network of Mesa County. Seth attained a bachelor’s of science degree in public accounting and a minor in business administration from Colorado Mesa University. When not serving his clients, Seth and his wife enjoy golfing, going on hikes with their black lab, Lila, and cheering on the Denver Broncos.
Megan S. Loberg, CPA, to Tax Supervisor
Megan is a Colorado native growing up in Berthoud. She attended Western State Colorado University and received bachelor of arts degrees in accounting, economics, and business administration. Megan joined DWC’s Glenwood Springs office in January 2018. She provides general income tax preparation for individuals and businesses in multiple industries and particularly enjoys the unique work each industry requires. Megan is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Colorado Society of CPAs (COCPA) and serves as the treasurer of the COCPA Roaring Fork Chapter. She loves being a part of the Glenwood Springs community and spending as much time outside as possible.
Belen Salinas to Tax Senior
Belen started her career with Dalby Wendland’s Glenwood Springs office as an intern in 2014 and joined the firm full-time as a support staff member in 2015. She attained a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Colorado Mountain College in 2018, transitioning to tax staff accountant in 2019. Belen provides general income tax preparation and Client Accounting Services for individuals and businesses in multiple industries.
