Dalby, Wendland & Co., P.C., is pleased to announce local CPA Jeff M. Wilson has earned the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP®) designation by the Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals (ICCIFP).
CCIFP® certification recognizes a focus in the industry and that a financial manager is well-versed in the business of construction. The accreditation is endorsed by the leading construction industry organizations, including the ASA, CFMA, CICPAC, IRMI, and NASBP. To attain certification, applicants must meet minimum requirements in the areas of formal education and a minimum of 4,000 hours of professional experience to the construction industry. In addition, certified professionals must complete continuing education requirements, demonstrating they have continued employment as a construction financial professional.
Jeff M. Wilson, CPA, CCIFP®, is an audit manager and has been with Dalby Wendland since 2010. He received his bachelor of science in accounting and master of business administration degrees from Rockhurst University, Kansas City. In addition to construction, he provides auditing and accounting services for employee benefit plans and a variety of industries, including nonprofit organizations, governmental entities, manufacturing, and country clubs. Jeff is a member of the Colorado Society of CPAs and American Institute of CPAs, and Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). He is active with various Grand Junction community nonprofit fundraisers, is a member of the Grand Junction Lions Club, the Young Professionals Network of Mesa County, and is a board member and treasurer of the Greater Grand Junction Sports Commission.
